In response to the Department of Justice report on LMPD and the upcoming consent decree, Listen Learn Act, Lean Into Louisville, and the Earth and Spirit Center have partnered to hold the following two FREE events that explore how we as citizens can support full implementation of corrective actions and help create a safer, more just city:

 “From Words to Action: Can the DOJ Report Transform Louisville?” Led by Metro Councilwoman Paula McCraney and Attorney/Cartoonist Extraordinaire Marc Murphy, May 1 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.

 “Beyond ‘A Few Bad Apples’: Transparency and Accountability for Louisville Metro Police Department” Led by Louisville Inspector General, Edward Harness and Attorney and Chair of the Civilian Review and Accountability Board, Kellie Watson, May 15 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
